"We enrolled our son in PHA at the end of 6th grade. For us, education comes first, hockey second.  PHA has been a blessing in both areas!  

The CCA curriculum is organized, engaging, efficient and suits my son's learning style.  He is engaged in his education and has learned valuable time management skills that come along with the flexible schedule.

Through the workouts and on-ice coaching, he has become a stronger player, both physically and mentally.  The learning coaches and staff create a warm family environment, and the guest speakers, field trips and community service are wonderful.  We could not have asked for a better experience! "I just wanted to take a moment to share how much of a positive impact Philadelphia Hockey Academy has had on my son over the past year. He’s grown tremendously, not just as a hockey player, but academically and socially as well.

Before coming to PHA, he was an afterthought in public school. He struggled with confidence in the classroom, and school felt like something he just had to get through. But here, that’s completely changed. 

The structure, support, and environment at PHA have helped him excel academically in ways we never expected. He’s engaged, motivated, and actually enjoys learning now because he’s in a place where he’s challenged and supported.

On the ice, playing every day and working with great coaches has taken his game to another level, far beyond what we had hoped. But just as important, he’s built strong friendships, gained confidence in himself, and truly thrived in this setting.

"We are incredibly thankful for the wonderful experience my son has attending PHA.  he started as a freshman.  He was always a good student and had plenty of friends while attending public school but presented us with this opportunity in 8th grade as he had a teammate who attended PHA.

We spoke with the parents of his teammates about the school and they were so pleased with it that we made an appointment to speak with the PHA Staff. One meeting and we were convinced that this was a great place! The staff, which is now considered our son’s family goes above and beyond to create a supportive environment both academically and personally.  

My son has learned to be an independent student, yet any help or guidance is at his finger tips.  It’s very evident that the PHA family cares about the success of each student.  As for the hockey aspect - incredible!  When your child wakes up everyday and can’t wait to get to school and on the ice, LIFE IS GOOD!
